The setting
Set in a fantasy realm inspired by historical dark ages Scandinavia and filled with mystery, the series follows three protagonists as they try to find their place in the world while mysterious forces conspire.
The series focuses on adventure, fantastical action mixed with realism, and underlying mystery.
Where to start
While all of the books follow a linear progression, the first three books have been set up for a reader to pick any of them up without knowledge of the previous books. While they can be read out of order, the main characters’ stories are directly connected to each other.
Each of the main characters is built on different fundamental alignments: neutral, evil, and good.
